Overview

The PLUG-OUT technology is managed inside of a software plug-in. You are able to access preset and account management by loading the PLUG-OUT program as a normal VST3 or AU plug-in.

The Process

After installing the PLUG-OUT, open your DAW and create an instance of the PLUG-OUT. We will be using Ableton for this example. A full compatibility list can be found here: http://www.roland.com/products/en/SH-101_PLUG-OUT/?_ga=1.212004241.484730110.1405986952

To activate, click OPTIONS -> ACTIVATION

Click ACTIVATE on the following screen.

Enter your Roland Account information, or your Facebook information on the following screen. Click ACTIVATE.

You should now see a confirmation screen saying your product was activated.

CLOSE the activator.

Your PLUG-OUT software is now activated. Account management can be done by logging into account.roland.com
